Half way across the world in Asheville, NC, Asian Teacher Factory creates this music in their mountain haven rich with fine teas and kava. A collaborative effort to make rock music with an edgy drive through ethereal compositions, Asian Teacher Factory is a keyboard, drums and guitar trio dedicated to furthering the psychedelic mind in asian science education. SAMUEL PARADISE:
Samuel Paradise fuses organic, mechanical and electronic elements into his own unmistakable hybrid concoction of bass, love and mischief. A child of the late 90′s underground DnB and Northeastern Jam and Psychedelic rock communities, Sam P merges two world effortlessly with relentless independent releases on his net label and production company, Gauche VIbrations.
The unmistakeable melodic and hypnotic mixture of multi-genre inspiration blends effortlessly at his command. Echo’s of tape delay balance in beautiful contrast with arpeggiated synth lines, as rhythm loops swivel and sway.
Creating frequencies inspired from cosmic dub, trance, trip hop, lounge, glitch and house, the musical journey he weaves comes from and is intended to inspire appreciation for oneness, the noosphere, and consciousness expansion through music.
Samuel Paradise has worked alongside or shared stages with legends like Sunshine Jones, PlayLow, Prefuse 73, Freddy Todd, Marley Carroll, Panther God, Boy in Sleep, DJ Icey, Aligning Minds, and many more in just the last few months.
In the live setting Samuel performs his own original work, with endless opportunity for improvisation. Incorporating sound reactive lighting and custom, scratch made, 3D mapped video projection, it truly is, a feast for the senses.
