The Wednesday Night Soul Jazz Jam will be returning to The One Stop Deli & Bar on October 10th.

This is a free event that happens every Wednesday. The Soul Jazz Jam will be hosted by Preston Cate (Vertigo Jazz Project) and will feature Jeff Sipe on the drums when he’s available. Sipe is currently on tour with the Jimmy Herring Band and Jeff Sipe Trio. Sipe will be on drums every Wednesday during December.

The format for the Soul Jazz Jam will be a little different this time. Instead of utilizing a house band, the band will be comprised of different players every week. The players will be selected from the best of Asheville’s musicians.

The first set will be a closed set. The second set will be open for other musicians to come on jam!
