TWO BANDS TWO BUCKS. This is a showcase, a chance for bands to show us what they got! Geniass Productions is looking for bands to play a great show, bring a good crowd and are eager to share their music with the Asheville live music community. Show us how passionate you are about your music, and perhaps you will earn the chance to play a primetime slot at The One Stop. We will poll at the door to see who came to see what band.

First band plays from 8-8:45PM and the second from 9-9:45PM.

JOEY SHAHEEN:
On his 3rd tour of the US supporting the release: “Shoot Up The Town”. Joey Shaheen aka “The Wrong Omar” brings a large and varied catalog of material with him on his “Sled-Dawg-Slushy-Tour”. Songs range from indie singer/songwriter to folk-rock along with stories and rock&roll aphorisms. The songs are melodic and hook oriented with strong intelligent lyrics.Touring solo/acoustic with guitar/harp rack/foot tambourine.

Joe has performed Live on: KUMD( Duluth ), WDVX(Knoxville), KDTR( Missoula ), KMSU( Mankato ), WTIP( Grand Marais ), WETS( Johnson City )

Joe has appeared in concert with: RB Morris, Daphne Willis, Hamilton Loomis, Monroe Crossing.
