In Flight
In Flight jams original music—combining jazz fusion, prog-rock, electric bluegrass, and more. Guitarist, Bryce Robertson, and keyboardist, Ian Taylor, have collaborated for 15+ years and have 50 original songs. The tunes weave in and out of group improvisations, making for a unique performance every time.
Bryce and Ian met in 2009 during a jam session at Doc’s Music Hall in Muncie, Indiana. They became fast friends and formed a musical bond that continues to grow. The two instrumentalists performed in several bands together, going on small tours, and hitting the festival scene of the midwest. In 2014, In Flight was formed—originally as an experimental duo and later with a full band, featuring many talented musicians to fill out the sound.
The duo relocated to Asheville, North Carolina in 2016 for nature’s inspiration and the growing music scene. The band recently released an EP, Into The Light, and have a full-length album, Play On, that can be heard on all listening platforms.
