DJ SYLIK (SIH-LEEK) began when she was a dancer at shows for the release on the dance floor! Then, in 2013 with two technics and a mixer, she began her journey of helping others move their bodies and heal –
She became fascinated by sound and frequency and its effect on the audience. Sylik finds joy in knowing all sound has a color and incorporates “color”, texture and funky movements into her mixing style. It’s one wild color palette! The love of creating a vibe and unique movement became a driving force behind her passion for DJing. She’s always been a dancer, a painter and consistently creating so she found the music and the ability to create in another modality – a more Interactive one. From tonality to tempo, music became her medicine… for herself and all who listen. She wants nothing more than to share this fun, connective and healing modality with all on the dance floor.
