Sunnyside Strings & Things is a special collaboration of southeast regional
musicians joining forces for the debuting Pre-Party on 2/10 for a week of Billy Strings in Asheville February 2026.
Joining songstress Sunnie Rae are local legendary pickers Mark Schimick(mandolin) and James Schlender(fiddle) of “Songs From The Road Band” and “Sunnyside Stringband”. Featuring Asheville’s one and only Marcus White on keys and bringin up some southern flavor from Georgia, introducing Trey Miller(banjo, harmonica) of “Tire Fire” and Justin Boudreau(bass) of “The Ain’t Sisters”
With a unique sound formed by but not confined to Sunnie Rae’s intrinsic Folk/Americana/Roots foundation, this super group will test the boundaries of Bluegrass, Rock, Blues and Country. Expect the unexpected. Come out to support Live Music at Asheville’s local staple The One Stop and get ready for a week of Billy Strings!
