Council Ring is psychedelic rock band out of Charlotte, NC. Formed at the end of 2020, the band has spent the last 5 years playing all across North Carolina from the beach to the mountains as well as Virginia, West Virginia and South Carolina steadily building a dedicated fanbase. They have played with bands like Spafford, Dizgo, Yam Yam, Tand, The Wright Ave, Mono Means One and was a part of The Mantras annual music festival “Mantrabash” in 2024 and 2025. High energy originals that come from a Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix sonic space are what bolster their art. The songwriting is original rock music using blues, folk, and soul to tell the story – using the journey as the destination.

The band currently has 3 albums available wherever you stream your music. “Beyond The Door” self produced, released in August of 2022. “Comatose” recorded live at Smokey Joe’s in Charlotte, NC on October 26th, 2024 & the latest release, “Ripple Effect” recorded with Joe May at Alta Mira Studios in Charlotte, NC that was released in September of 2025.
