Jesse Valcich is an American musician, singer, and songwriter seeking to express the existential tug of human experience through an eclectic music style and poetic lyricism. He is known both for his solo work and his role as guitarist and singer of the band Strictly Liquid. Whether it’s stripped down acoustic arrangements or loud and rowdy electric compositions, Jesse digs his heels deep into the raw unfolding nature of sound.Drawing inspiration from The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Phish, his contemporary americana sound blends elements of blues, jam, rock-n-roll, and experimental noise.Jesse’s soon-to-be-released folk album “I See You Now in Everything,” recorded in the back of their Ford E250 conversion van, will be available to stream in the spring of 2025 across all platforms along with past releases, “Weird Year” and “Surrender Into Grace”.
Skylar Gowanloch is a singer-songwriter with performance roots in folk music, theater, and choir. With a voice reminiscent of Joan Baez, she sings tunes that take you back to the 60s. She is a part of the Asheville Choral Society, but her heart lies in the mysterious, honest, and soulful vicissitudes of folk music. Her songs contain weaving lyrics of love, nature, and God, as well as people lost at sea, squirrel eyes, and cigarette butts.You can find her playing alongside Jesse Valcich in their Jes Sky duo project and occasionally singing with the band Strictly Liquid.
