Jesse Velvet is an Asheville-based funk-rock sextet celebrating the release of their debut studio album, Pushin’, a six-song collection capturing the band’s raw energy, tight musicianship, and growing psychedelic edge.
Blending funk, rock, soul, and psychedelic jam, Jesse Velvet delivers high-octane live shows driven by blazing guitar leads, slick keyboard lines, deep-pocket bass grooves, and an infectious dual-percussion rhythm section that keeps the dance floor moving. The band features veteran players from Pyletribe, Scratchdog Stringband, Get Right Band, and Pronounced Heroes, bringing serious chemistry and experience to every performance.

Smooth Goose is a Neo-soul Country-Funk band hailing from Asheville, North Carolina. Known for blending soul-wrenching blues grooves with boogie-down dance rhythms, the group delivers high-energy performances that get crowds moving and scratching that itch in hard to reach places.
The bands work includes creative projects such as the popular rock opera Happyland at The Magnetic Theatre in 2023. Smooth Goose is currently in the studio recording but also in the lab reviving a species of Mastadon via cutting edge CRISPR technology.
