Melissa McKinney is a powerful vocalist, songwriter, educator, and event curator living in Asheville, NC. With a deep love and respect for Blues and Roots music, her music is a testament to survival and resilience. Melissa was a 2024 finalist in the International Blues Challenge solo/duo in Memphis, TN. Chris Everette is the nastiest guitar player this side of Planet Earth. Together they won the Merlefest Band Competition this year with their band MAMA.
