Patrick is a singer-songwriter originally from the suburbs just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. After
spending a year writing and recording his debut album, Patrick Smith dives deep into the art of
loss and dread with This Was All For Nothing. The seven-track album blends drone-like
ambience and indie folk, creating a darker twist on acoustic music.
At 14, he picked up the guitar and started playing in different acts as a lead guitarist or frontman.
This would eventually lead him down the road to becoming a solo artist at the age of 22. Falling
in love with the contemporary folk sound of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan, alongside the weight of
early 2000’s doom metal, Patrick fell in love with mixing the two elements together.
