SHAKEDOWN CITI is at the very very top of Grateful Dead tribute bands I have ever seen. The band combines the highest levels of seasoned musicianship, sublime vocals and outstanding jams. Their playing reminds me of the peak years of Grateful Dead. It’s that good!!!

Goin Down the Line to Jazzfest!!
Yep, that’s right, we are headed on down to NOLA! We are so thrilled to be making our New Orleans debut at the fabulous Howlin’ Wolf for the first Friday night of Jazzfest, 4/24/26. And to get there in style we’re hitting a ton of brand new markets on our way there and back.
Our announce date of 02/17/26 is a true cosmic confluence as it’s the first time that Mardi Gras and Chinese New Year have occurred on the same date since 1953!! We enter the celebration of Spring with the shedding of the 2025 Snake’s skin as we transition into the year of Jerry Garcia’s birth sign: the Horse.
