Strictly Liquid is a high-energy Asheville-based jam band turning heads across the Southeast. With a sound that blends psychedelic rock, blues, jazz, and funk, their shows involve sprawling improvisational jams and tightly crafted originals. Formed in 2021 when brothers Luke and Jesse Valcich met Joey Remillard in Tallahassee, FL, the band found its final piece in drummer JC Hannon. Mentored by jam scene heavyweights like Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Co., The Allman Brothers) and Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits), Strictly Liquid’s sound is a true homage to their roots, with no two shows ever being the same.
Since their inception, they’ve shared stages with acts like Oteil Burbridge & Friends, Dizgo, and Tand, and made their festival debut at Resonate Suwannee 2025 alongside giants like Papadosio, STS9, and Lotus. They returned to Resonate in 2026 fresh off the release of their debut studio album “Music to Drink”, and are currently on tour as they head toward their five-year anniversary. For venues and fans alike, Strictly Liquid offers something increasingly rare: a young band with the chops of seasoned veterans, imaginative songwriting, and the momentum of a group that’s only getting started.
