Show: 6 pm
Owen Walsh is a folk singer with a bad case of the blues, the result is pure Americana. Born near the banks of the Lackawaxen River in Northeast Pennsylvania, now a songwriter who’s made his home in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Owen has spent his life surrounded by nature, colorful characters, and relics of bygone eras. His music reflects this upbringing. His unique songwriting has received notable attention in the folk music world. And online, he’s gone viral showing off his abilities to improvise a song on the spot, impersonate his heroes like Bob Dylan, and write stirring folk ballads about lighthearted subjects—like an Oompa Loompa Labor Strike.

He currently lives in Asheville, writing original music, performing as a solo act, and as a guitarist, singer, or fiddle player in about a half dozen other projects.
